We're looking for an experienced editor to work on "The Garden Wall" a short film that relies on nuanced dialogue, tension beneath the surface and emotional weight in every frame.

The ideal person will have a strong understanding of pacing, dialogue, and creating tension in the subtlest of moments, with the use of silence, expressions, and small gestures to build the psychological layers of the scene. Think films like The Lost Daughter and A Bigger Splash. 

Role:

• Editing the footage shot on the day, focusing on cutting and shaping the material to create a compelling final product

• Working closely with the director to understand the film’s tone and emotional beats

• Applying transitions, music, and sound design to the video

• Ensuring the final product aligns with the creative vision of the project
